Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, PORT (Pseudo Obstruction Research Trust) is proud to announce that we have successfully raised £55,698.77 to fully fund a one-year research project titled: "Mechanisms and Treatment of Nausea"

This important study is being led by Professor Gareth Sanger at The Blizzard Institute. Professor Sanger is a globally recognised, award-winning scientist who ranks in the top 1% of scholars worldwide in the field of Gastrointestinal Motility over the past decade. With an extensive background in neurogastroenterology, his recent work focuses on understanding the complex mechanisms behind nausea and vomiting, conditions that significantly affect the lives of many patients.

Professor Sanger and his international team of collaborators are at the forefront of groundbreaking research, transforming the way nausea and vomiting are understood and treated. We are incredibly proud to be supporting this vital research, which has the potential to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by chronic digestive conditions.
